Winery in the Monferrato Acquese area This beautiful winery located between Montabone, Alice bel Colle and Ricaldone, municipalities with a great oenological tradition, is now for sale in the municipality of Cassine.
It consists of buildings and about 12 hectares of land, over 6 of which are planted with vines cultivated in a favourably exposed hillside position, used mainly for the production of Barbera d'Asti, Brachetto d'Acqui and Monferrato Rosso.
Only a small part of the grapes are used to make wine, which is currently bottled and sold directly by the estate on the Swiss market, while the remaining grapes are sold as soon as they are harvested. The winery, equipped with farm vehicles and machinery as well as cellar equipment, including numerous steel tanks, is sold behind closed doors. The architecturally attractive building, which was built about 15 years ago, consists of a basement measuring over 450 m², used as the cellar, with winemaking rooms, laboratory, service areas, storage, and ageing rooms, where the wine is cradled by the notes of the old piano, and of an upper floor measuring about 300 m². The latter is characterised by the large porticoes and comprising a large and elegant room paved with terracotta tiles and featuring a full-height laminated wood ceiling, suitable for various uses such as displays and sales, or as a dining room, and is completed by service rooms and toilets. The attic floor of the building houses a very pleasant space that can be used as accommodation for the owner.
